Adult Inpatient Care

Our approach to inpatient care is a collobarative effort with our patients. Each individual seeking care has their own unique story and it is our role to understand.

Inpatient-Adult-Services-04

TaraVista's Adult Inpatient Program provides psychiatric care and medical intervention for acute mental health problems with or without co-occuring substance use issues. We treat most psychiatric conditions including major depression and mood disorders, trauma (PTSD), psychosis, anxiety. Substance misuse is addressed as part of the treatment for the primary presenting psychiatric symptoms.

Inpatient treatment is a high level of care treating adults in a safe, confidential and caring environment. Individuals generally come for inpatient care when their behavior has become unsafe such as after attempting suicide or experiencing suicidal thoughts and when symptoms become so severe they can not be managed with existing services. The primary goal of treatment is stabilization of symptoms and developing a plan for transitioning to less intensive services.

We have four inpatient units dedicated to caring for adults. Our inpatient units are newly built and the space in designed to support every aspect of treatment.
