Visitor Information

Our visiting policies are designed to provide patients with meaningful visits in a safe and confidential setting. They take into account each patient's treatment plan, the age of the patient as well as the needs of all patients.

TaraVista is a non-smoking facility and there is no smoking in the facility or in outdoor spaces. We continue to maintain Covid precautions for the health of patients and staff.

Visitors are encouraged to schedule a time in advance with unit staff. To schedule a visit, please call the unit directly:

Visitation Appointments:

  • Visitors must bring a photo I.D. to verify identify
  • Three visitors are permitted at a time
  • Minors must be accompanied by their parent
  • Visitors need to arrive on time, late arrivals may not be accommodated
  • Lobby Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am to 8pm | Saturday-Sunday, 10:30am to 6pm
  • If lobby doors are locked, ring door bell on left. If after lobby hours, proceed to admissions entrance (on left side of building).

What Can I Expect During My Visit:

  • Visits occur on the unit and in common areas.
  • Upon arrival, a locker and key will be provided to store personal items during your visit. Items such as a wallet, purse, jacket, keys, phones, tablets can not go onto the unit.
  • Items and food entering the unit will be inspected carefully for unsafe materials.
  • Snacks and small meals are permitted. Visitors may not eat with the patient. Any food that is not consumed during the visit will be disposed of as food cannot be stored.
  • TaraVista is a nut free facility. Please do not bring food items containing nuts into hospital.

Help Us Keep Our Patients & Staff Healthy

  • If you are not feeling well, please refrain from visiting until your symptoms subside.
  •  Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before visiting—every time!
  • Visitors who have been diagnosed with a Covid infection in the past 10 days can not enter the facility.

Prohibited Items

Weapons, alcohol, cannibas and other drugs are not allowed on the premises at anytime.
