In his role as Executive Vice President for TaraVista and MiraVista Behavioral Health Centers, Joel’s primary responsibility is to support the leadership team, clinical directors and operations managers in carrying out the purpose of the Vista health system. He is also responsible for building and retaining an exceptional team of caregivers and operations professionals.
In addition to his operational duties, Joel also oversees external affairs to ensure that MiraVista and TaraVista is meeting the needs of their communities and identifies opportunities for both centers to enhance their services. Initially, Joel served as the Chief People Officer for TaraVista and MiraVista, where he supervised Human Resources and created a new talent acquisition department. Joel brings over 15 years of senior leadership experience in human services and holds an MBA and and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Nichols College. He is an active member of the National and New England Chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
